Who we are

A shipping company built on the voyage.

Leopold Marine provides sea transportation for dry bulk cargo: the right ship for the parcel, at the load port on the date agreed, delivered at a rate that holds. We fix, operate and settle every voyage ourselves, with our own people, from the first enquiry to the closed account, with an operations desk that is reachable around the clock while a ship is working.

The company was established in Dubai in 2026. Its team has spent more than two decades in dry bulk chartering, commercial management and operations across the Indian Ocean, the Pacific and the Atlantic, for clients in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe. That experience, and the relationships that came with it, is what we bring to every cargo.

What we do

One desk, the whole voyage.

Every service below is delivered by the same people, so nothing is lost between the fixture and the final account.

Voyage transportation

Freight per tonne or lump sum

Cargo carried from load port to discharge port on voyage charter terms. We provide the vessel, pay the bunkers, port costs and canal dues, and deliver against a laycan we will meet.

Contracts of affreightment

Season or annual programmes

Tonnage committed over a season or a year for regular shipments, with vessels nominated as the programme firms up. Certainty of freight and lifting for the client, planning horizon for us.

Time-charter tonnage

Period and trip

Vessels taken in on period and trip time charter and offered out to charterers who prefer to direct the voyage themselves, with our operations team in support.

Operations and settlement

Port to port, and after

Port agency, bunkers, laytime and demurrage, documentation and claims, handled in-house by people who have done it on both sides of the charter party.

From a 10,000-tonne parcel to a 200,000-tonne cargo.

We fix the vessel that fits the cargo, the port and the season, not the one that happens to be free.

Tonnage

Handysize to Capesize, drawn to one scale.
